Terms

Terms of Use

These terms define the scope of ConductCognition so researchers understand what the platform provides, what remains sales-led, and where responsibilities lie.

Research Use Only

ConductCognition is offered as a hosted research workflow for browser-native cognitive testing. It is not a medical diagnosis product, regulated-clinical workflow, or FDA-cleared system.

Researcher Responsibilities

Researchers are responsible for study design, recruitment, ethics approvals, consent text, legal basis for processing participant data, and interpretation of results. Researchers must verify that the platform configuration fits their protocol before launching a live study.

Acceptable Use

Users may not misuse the service, interfere with other studies, bypass plan enforcement, or represent ConductCognition as providing claims that are not supported by the live product. Future enterprise or institutional features should not be treated as currently included unless explicitly provided.

Plans and Billing

ConductCognition offers Free, one-year, and three-year licenses under Academic & Nonprofit and Commercial Research price books. Academic Research one-year licenses may be purchased by card. Larger, commercial, and three-year licenses are issued by purchase order or institutional invoice. Existing paid customers retain the price and participant rights of their active term. Paid entitlements, expiration dates, and support exceptions are governed by the applicable order or license source of truth.

Academic Eligibility

Academic & Nonprofit pricing is limited to independently funded, publication-oriented research that is not commercially sponsored, used for product development or regulatory submission, or subject to publication restrictions for a for-profit sponsor. Commercially sponsored work at a university, hospital, or nonprofit uses Commercial Research pricing. ConductCognition may request funding or sponsor information and reprice misclassified use.
